Well, it was an insult to the public at the Metro Board Meeting today. Najarian had put forth a valid motion. The answers to the motion, which are on a memo written by the County Attorney, can not be discussed in public because of client attorney privilege. WHAT? The contents of the memo can only be discussed in private. So the public has no right to hear the answer.
There were over a dozen people that spoke against the 710 tunnel and Metro's response to the motion. Then Fasana and Antonovich spoke (the two 710 tunnel lovers). Fasana wants the EIR to be completed. Antonovich claims that Caltrans is the lead agency and we should know that. Regardless of what Antonovich said, there needs to be an official Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Caltrans and Metro spelling out who is the lead agency and who is responsible for what.
