This letter is addressed to Southern California
Associations of Governments (SCAG). Concerns are raised
regarding inclusion of SR-710 North Extension Tunnel in the
Regional Transportation Plan (RTP). How can it be part of
the Plan if it has not been selected as an Alternative?
The
RTP report actually reveals the importance of our
continued insistence that it is NOT a gap. The
710
does not exist
north
of Valley Boulevard. What was built in Pasadena is just
the 210/134 interchange (by virtue of a court-ordered
exception to the 1973 injunction).
